- Accurately complete and submit field service documentation, including reports and timesheets, on a daily basis.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical failures of engines and compressors efficiently.
- Participate in the timely overhaul and rebuilding of compressor systems and associated controls in challenging field conditions.
- Support emergency response efforts and address recurring technical issues as required.
- Aid in the installation of new compressor units, including start-up inspections and commissioning.
- Conduct mechanical inspections utilizing various tools such as micrometers and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Be prepared for extensive travel across multiple states, including potential overnight stays and work during weekends and holidays.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; vocational or technical training is a plus.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, background investigation, and physical examination.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills are essential, with experience in automotive or industrial maintenance preferred.
