Phlebotomist - Float Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Float Phlebotomist. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations and with different patients, team members, and clinics. This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills, gain experience, and set yourself up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization.

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical tests
• Enter patient information into our system accurately and in a timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
