About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Valid state of Maine certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of care
