We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/Home Health Aide to join our team at Artis Senior Living. As a Caregiver/Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing/showering, eating, and other personal care needs.
- Provide transportation to meals, enrichment activities, and other programs as needed.
- Ensure resident care plans are reviewed and followed consistently.
- Monitor residents for behavioral changes and/or adverse reactions to medications or treatment plans, and communicate any changes to clinical staff immediately.
- Respond to emergency calls and resident/visitor requests in a timely and safe manner.
- Observe and maintain community policies and procedures regarding resident and team member safety, attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, and resident service.
- Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to all Infection Prevention, OSHA, fire and safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all community residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide certification is required.
- Fulfill and maintain continuing education credits as required by state.
- Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to understand, read, write, and effectively verbally communicate in English.
