Caregiver / Medication Manager

At Independence Village, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver / Medication Manager to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized assistance to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as directed by the nurse or physician.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Report any changes or concerns to the nurse or executive director.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Paid training and certification programs.
