Job Summary:
The University of California, Irvine seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to assigned patients in the Telemetry unit, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and address patient concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS and Initial Dysrythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire.
- Recent acute care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
