Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, panels, commercial switchgear up to 3000A, transformers, disconnects, and other commercial 208/480V electrical components.
- Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, and other electrical systems.
- Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Collaborate with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Trench for electrical underground installations.
- Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system, and to ensure compatibility.
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
- Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints, and maps.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements, and report any violations to the immediate supervisor.
- Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties.
- Trench and install underground PVC and overhead EMT.
- Interpersonal Skills: Focus on solving conflicts, not blaming; maintain confidentiality; listen to others, and be proactive in resolving issues.
- Written Communication: Write clearly and informatively; be conscious of the audience and vary writing style accordingly; able to read and interpret written requirements.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Time Management: Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from commercial and enterprise clients in EV Charging solutions, Fleet Electrification, Solar Micro-grids, Energy storage, Hydroponic farming, and Rain Water/Grey Water collection systems. Our company operates under several government rebate programs, ensuring a steady and reliable flow of revenues. We are a licensed C-10 contractor and operate construction crews in various areas of CA and soon the rest of the U.S.
