Summary

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated Parking Operations Manager. This role is crucial for overseeing the parking operations during events at the Jacksonville Sports Complex. The Parking Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the parking staff and the event management team, ensuring exceptional service for all event attendees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and allocate work assignments for Parking Attendants and Cashiers.
  • Manage the distribution and reconciliation of cash funds for cashiers.
  • Conduct briefings and provide necessary tools and equipment to Parking Attendants.
  • Assist guests with directions and relevant venue information.
  • Perform inspections of parking areas to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Supervise the setup of signage, traffic cones, and other materials for events.
  • Oversee the sale of parking tickets in accordance with established protocols.
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of parking staff, addressing performance issues as needed.
  • Resolve customer service inquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain communication with the host venue to ensure seamless event parking.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement for traffic management during events.
  • Regularly patrol parking facilities to uphold safety and operational standards.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits as required.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to comprehend signage and follow simple instructions.
  • Capable of preparing clear and concise reports.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Must pass a background check, including credit history.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of experience in customer service or management, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
