Pelican Park Dental Care is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and education on oral health and hygiene practices.
- Conduct thorough dental exams, cleanings, and screenings to identify potential issues.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our team of dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and technology to provide the highest level of care.
- Current dental hygienist license in LA and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Clinical experience in a dental setting.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
