Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Holiday Inn Express McCook. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Retrieve and restock cleaning supplies, maintaining a clean and organized storeroom.
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including windows, doors, walls, and fixtures.
- Wash and dry hard floor areas, including linoleum and tile.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings.
- Strip and remake beds, checking for cleanliness and replacing linens as needed.
- Inspect and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
- Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work with arms raised above head.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
