As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting survivors of domestic violence by supervising visitation sessions, providing resources, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Visitation Sessions: Observe and monitor supervised parenting sessions, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all parties involved.
- Provide Resources and Education: Facilitate Familiarization Visits, Orientations, and Intakes with parents and children, promoting positive interactions and providing necessary support.
- Case Management Services: Utilize the Guiding Principles to facilitate safe visits, collect and enter data, and adhere to State and Federal grant policies and procedures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Attend Monthly and weekly Staff Meetings, supervision, and training sessions to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience with parenting and supervisory programs, domestic violence, and sound judgment in stressful situations.
- Skills: Ability to implement crisis intervention techniques, work effectively with a diverse population, and maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual Tasks: Ability to complete manual tasks involving dexterity to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications, and other office equipment.
- Physical Environment: Ability to work in a changing physical environment due to support of child/family needs.
