  • Observe and monitor supervised parenting sessions to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Facilitate positive interactions between parents and their children in a supervised setting.
  • Discuss concerns or issues with parents both in person and over the phone.
  • Provide referrals to necessary services and answer phones.
  • Utilize the Guiding Principles to facilitate safe visits.
  • Basic data collection and entry, including compliance with funders.
  • Proper documentation of case files.
  • Adherence to agency policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience with parenting and supervisory programs.
  • Experience with domestic violence.
  • Sound judgment in stressful situations.
  • Able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to complete manual tasks involving dexterity to enter and retrieve data using computer systems.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit for short or long periods of time in an office setting.
  • Ability to lift and transport materials/supplies up to 25 lbs.
