We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols and procedures without requiring constant supervision.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Work with physicians to schedule interventional procedures and effectively communicate with patients to obtain important clinical information.
- Image Quality and Safety: Regularly produce images of high quality according to prescribed protocols and procedures, and adhere to established company compliance, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Procedure Variety: Perform a variety of procedures, including general radiographic, fluoroscopic, mammographic, and patient unit, ED, trauma, and operating room portables.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the best service to our patients and physicians.
- Certificate or Associate Degree: Certificate program or associate degree in radiology technology.
- Experience: One year of experience as a CT Tech in a facility, with AHA BLS required.
