Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including entering patient data and positioning them on the procedure table.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images, including setting exposure factors and monitoring fluoro time.
  • Assist interventional radiologists with sterile equipment and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Process and display final images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate records of films, fluoro time, and injections.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and certification by the ARRT.
  • Valid license in the State of New York.
  • Knowledge of Special Procedure/Angiographic Systems and Radiographic exposure equipment.
