ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Application Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring that our mobile application continues to deliver an exceptional user experience as we expand. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, prioritizes user needs, and possesses a wealth of mobile development experience to elevate our application as the organization evolves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of features from conception through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Explore and adopt new technologies as needed to enhance the quality and efficiency of our development practices.
  • Work closely with our product team, healthcare professionals, and fellow engineers to refine our patient experience.
  • Establish and uphold processes that ensure the integrity of our products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in both large and small organizations, understanding the dynamics of scaling while being adaptable to the fast-paced nature of startups.
  • A solid background in software engineering, particularly with Swift and RESTful web services, having successfully launched and iterated on complex iOS applications available on the App Store.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining various types of tests, including unit tests, snapshot tests, and integration tests, as our codebase requires further testing enhancement.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborating effectively within our product engineering team and across departments.
  • A strong desire for personal and professional growth, embracing the responsibilities and autonomy that come with high ownership roles, and guiding fellow developers in project breakdown and workflow creation.
  • Familiarity with reactive programming and MVVM-C architecture.
  • Experience with RxSwift is a plus, as we aim to transition away from it.
  • Knowledge of protocols and experience in developing reusable UI components, such as SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Android development (Kotlin) and/or backend programming is advantageous.

COMPENSATION

The compensation range for this position is between $120,560 and $204,800, depending on prior experience, performance, and market conditions.
