About the Opportunity

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a skilled Rheumatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Backus Hospital Arthritis and Rheumatology Center.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients with arthritis and rheumatological conditions in a hospital outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide initial and follow-up consultations for patients with rheumatological conditions, including arthritis, osteoporosis, and other related disorders.
  • Perform joint injections and gain an understanding of immunosuppressive and biologic therapies.
  • Collaborate with seasoned office staff and providers from other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in provider committees, system-wide initiatives, and rheumatology meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
