We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at Lilly. This is a day shift position, and you will work closely with our team to meet production schedules and maintain a high level of quality and productivity.
Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership on the manufacturing floor to ensure a high level of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Maintaining a safe work environment and exemplifying safe working practices.
- Acting as both an administrator and technical leader for operations, setting a good example through demonstrated knowledge of procedures and compliance with quality systems.
- Operating the equipment and performing activities as required to meet production schedules.
- Assisting in checking execution documentation, including Electronic Batch Records and SAP.
- Driving key departmental objectives, including improving safety performance, reducing deviations, and improving productivity.
- Supporting site leadership to build a diverse and capable site organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges.
- Computer proficiency, including desktop software and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Leadership and training experience.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
- Previous experience working in operations or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release.
