The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a full-time tenure or non-tenure track faculty position in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This is an exceptional opportunity to build upon a strong clinical base for breast and extremity/soft tissue reconstruction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and academic programs in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Participate in the education and training of residents and fellows in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Pursue academic interests and contribute to the research and scholarship of the Division
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the mission and goals of the Department of Surgery

Requirements

  • MD degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in plastic surgery
  • Fellowship training in breast or microsurgery, unless training and/or practice has provided robust experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in academic medicine and research
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
