Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Morrison-Maierle. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and vision.
  • Lead project lifecycle from planning to construction oversight, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Utilize design software to build power system components, including circuitry, equipment power plans, lighting plans, and fire alarm plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
  • Work cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines to support project design.
  • Tackle design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Develop, inspire, manage, and mentor project staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Preferred engineering licensure such as EIT or PE or ability to obtain after hire.
  • 3+ years' experience in electrical system design within architectural and building project disciplines.
  • Project management experience leading complex projects.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as RIVIT, AGI32, SKM, or similar.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written.
  • Proven client growth mindset.
  • A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record is required for occasional travel.
