Midwifery Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at Northern Light Health in Portland, Maine. Our midwifery practice has been providing excellent care to the greater Portland community for over 30 years.
We are an independent group of practitioners working together to care for low to moderate risk women who choose midwifery care. We collaborate with our OB/GYN colleagues for care outside of the midwifery scope of practice. All births take place at Mercy Hospital's Birthplace, an LDRP unit, with skilled labor and delivery nurses assisting.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Board Certification and eligibility for licensure in Maine
- Availability for 2 shifts per month, providing 24 hour hospital coverage
- 5 years of experience in full scope midwifery care
- Training and experience in C-section first assist
