Job Summary

St. David's Surgical Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate services and activities specific to the Imaging area (CT and Radiology)
  • Monitor all technical clerical functions, including efficient patient throughput and effective utilization of equipment and human resources, based upon patient load
  • Perform CT scans and take radiographs according to the standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American College of Radiology, and the Texas Medical Board to assist in diagnosis or treatment
  • Ensure that patient safety, health, and welfare come first by exercising professional judgment in performance of services and maintaining a demeanor complementary of medical ethics

Requirements

  • Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology or a military training program of equivalent standards
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board
  • Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R)), and post-primary certification in Computed Tomography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) within 6 months of hire
