Job Title: Navajo Technical University Assistant

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year

The Navajo Technical University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Land Grant Program under the direction of the Youth Development Program Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month staff position that provides administrative support for the program, including youth, horticulture, agriculture, natural resources, community need, college student need, and family and consumer science areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment, hiring, and orientation of student interns for youth programs.
  • Mentors, chaperones, and supervises youth participants during all programs and camps.
  • Assists with updating applications, rules, equipment/supply lists, evaluation methods, policies & procedures, etc.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Administrative Assistant, Family and Consumer Science, or related field.
  • Two-year Land Grant programming assistance experience is required.
  • Public Speaking experience is required.
