Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Healthcare Risk Coordinator to join our team at the Indian Health Service. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in reducing risk and improving patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in service unit programs designed to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes
  • Utilize electronic health records to review patient medical treatment and plan of care
  • Work within general programmatic authority to implement risk reduction strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify and mitigate risk
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have a graduate or higher level degree in nursing and a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse. You must also have at least one year of specialized experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on risk reduction and patient safety.

In addition to your education and experience, you must be knowledgeable in current concepts and principles of performance improvement and have the ability to work within a team environment.
