Job Summary

As a key member of our coatings team, you will be responsible for applying coatings to various structures, tanks, piping, and miscellaneous surfaces in accordance with customers' specifications and manufacturers' recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coatings Application: Apply coatings to various structures, tanks, piping, and miscellaneous surfaces in accordance with customers' specifications and manufacturers' recommendations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assemble, maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment.
  • Coatings Preparation: Mix and thin the coatings according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Protective Enclosures: Construct protective enclosures to avoid overspray of customers' equipment.
  • Supply Management: Assist in loading, unloading, and storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Safety Protocols: Perform all work in the safest possible manner, immediately correct any unsafe condition, and perform onsite QA/QC functions, including paperwork and evaluation of employees.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Highly productive, experienced in multiple crafts involved, and an expert in the mechanic and use of all equipment, materials, and procedures necessary for the safe and effective application of coatings.
  • Proficiency: Proficient in spraying to maintain even milage, knowledge of and experience in different coatings (Epoxy, urethanes, polyesters, vinylesters), and knowledge of Hazardous waste management.
  • Skills: Proficient in all Safety aspects of the craft and QA/QC requirements.
Travel

Occasional travel may be required.
