Job Title: Industrial Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking experienced Industrial Fabrication Specialists who can work off a set of technical drawings or blueprints and understand what they are going to build. Our manufacturing involves heavy industrial steel frames and tanks for various industries worldwide. The Industrial Fabrication Specialist will report to the Shop Supervisor and handle various fabrication tasks and projects according to their skill level and capabilities. Daily responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, proper use and care of all equipment, learning and improving personal skills, and following prescribed procedures reliably.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceptional technical drawing interpretation and understanding
  • Welding (GMAW and FCAW processes) and proficient use of fit-up tools, fixturing, methods, and equipment
  • Experience fitting together heavy weldments
  • Leadership skills and ability to adapt between different types of work (plate, structural, mechanical, industrial)
  • Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • Hard Skills:
    • Exceptional blueprint reading
    • Welding (GMAW and FCAW processes)
    • Proficient use of fit-up tools, fixturing, methods, and equipment
    • Experience fitting together heavy weldments
  • Soft Skills:
    • Leadership skills
