Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Home Care and Hospice team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, provide, and document professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the NC nurse practice act, physician orders, and established policies and procedures.
- Use professional nursing judgment to individualize the plan of care based on assessment of the patient's baseline needs and response to care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and cost-effectively manage patient care.
- Assess educational needs of patients/families and develop and implement effective educational interventions.
- Role model professional nursing through conduct, appearance, communication, mutual respect, ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Current RN license in NC or compact RN licensure from participating state.
- Current State of North Carolina Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) (American Heart Association only).
- 1-2 years of med-surgical, critical care, or home health/hospice/infusion experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance coverage.
