Project Overview: Krasan Consulting Services is seeking a highly experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to enhance our innovative team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and sustaining robust platform solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This role demands an extensive knowledge of platform engineering, cloud computing, and the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Engineering:
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and dependable platform solutions.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with system architects to ensure solutions are in line with the overarching platform architecture.
  • Technical Mentorship:
  • Offer technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback to guarantee high-quality software delivery.
  • Lead by example, advocating best practices in development and testing.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of platform components.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to keep everyone updated on project progress and challenges.
  • Performance Enhancement:
  • Monitor and enhance platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement best practices for performance tuning and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues promptly.
  • Continuous Development:
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to advance platform capabilities.
  • Contribute to the creation of tools and processes to refine the development workflow.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure platform solutions comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and implement necessary safeguards.
  • Conduct security assessments and implement measures to protect the platform.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in platform development.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Jenkins).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
