Job Title: CAD Drafter

As a Mechanical Drafter Technician at eTeam, you will collaborate closely with mechanical design engineers to create detailed design and drawings for mechanical components. This includes maintaining our ClientAD component library. Additionally, you will perform structural analysis using SolidWorks or other analysis tools, such as Ansys Mechanical, under the guidance of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years' experience and proficiency in 3D CAD modeling tools, including SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and CATIA.
  • 5+ years' experience drafting manufacturing drawings per ANSI Y14.5 and GD&T standards.
  • Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes, such as high-pressure die casting, metal stamping, extrusion, and injection molding.
  • Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Product Data Management (PDM) tools, such as Windchill.
  • Experience using structural simulation tools, including SolidWorks and ANSYS-Mechanical.
