Position Overview:

The Logistics Wave Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing workflow within the operations team, ensuring that tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position involves investigating discrepancies and collaborating with various departments to prioritize tasks and streamline processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee workflow by maintaining communication with supervisors and management to identify current operational needs.
  • Release operational waves according to established sequences and schedules.
  • Monitor exceptions that may hinder the release or completion of waves.
  • Update SKU attributes in the system based on data received from the Receiving and Picking teams.
  • Address any concerns or delays in order processing with supervisors to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Respond to requests for priority adjustments and manage wave assignments accordingly.
  • Engage in regular communication with peers and management to ensure alignment.
  • Keep track of open waves and take action on those outstanding for over 24 hours.
  • Collaborate with the triage team to address and resolve order delays.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend, and execute all job-related documentation.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Learn and utilize various warehouse management systems as required.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
