Job Summary:

The Physician Assistant II will work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members to promote and maintain health and healing for patients and families. Key responsibilities include providing medical services related to diagnosis, treatment, and education, as well as participating in ongoing professional practice evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining medical histories.
  • Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, document patient care services, and provide continuity of care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure by the State of Nebraska and certification with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for prescriptive authority.
  • One year experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

  • Stand and/or walk frequently.
  • Visual, hearing, and color vision within normal limits.
