We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler II to join our team at Acutronic. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly of complex mechanical systems, ensuring precision and accuracy in every detail.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test complex mechanical systems, verifying alignment and precision tolerance of parts.
- Evaluate the alignments of axes in relation to each other, using advanced tools and techniques.
- Fabricate and fit parts using lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other specialized equipment.
- Clean and prepare parts for painting and finishing.
- Assist in the packing and shipping of equipment to customers.
- Perform field service functions on equipment, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure the calibration and maintenance of the Metrology lab.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical school or machining apprenticeship is desirable.
- At least three years of mechanical experience is required, with five years of experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license is necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 15% domestically, with occasional international travel.
