About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler II to join our team at Acutronic. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly of complex mechanical systems, ensuring precision and accuracy in every detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test complex mechanical systems, verifying alignment and precision tolerance of parts.
  • Evaluate the alignments of axes in relation to each other, using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Fabricate and fit parts using lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other specialized equipment.
  • Clean and prepare parts for painting and finishing.
  • Assist in the packing and shipping of equipment to customers.
  • Perform field service functions on equipment, both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure the calibration and maintenance of the Metrology lab.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical school or machining apprenticeship is desirable.
  • At least three years of mechanical experience is required, with five years of experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically, with occasional international travel.
