Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Westmont Group. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Manage event logistics, including setup, staffing, and equipment
  • Ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including greeting, serving, and ensuring their needs are met
  • Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring that expenses are within approved limits
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve event quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in banquet or event management
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality events and exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
