Radiology Technologist Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of radiographic procedures and duties primarily in main radiology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ionizing radiation and be able to operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures and duties in main radiology under the direction of a qualified Physician, Operations Manager, and Diagnostic Technical Specialist.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
  • Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Board required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or become registered within 12 months of hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification/training required.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology.
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiation Control Board.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or become registered within 12 months of hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification/training.
