We are currently in search of a Wealth Management Advisor responsible for cultivating relationships and delivering financial and investment insights to both existing and potential Wealth clients. Wealth Advisors collaborate with a team of specialists within the Wealth Group and engage with other experts, including Private Bankers, Trust Officers, Fixed Income Teams, RPS Administrators, and Philanthropy Officers, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Client Relationships:
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess and update their goals, financial data, and investment strategies.
  • Evaluate clients' risk tolerance and return objectives to construct tailored investment portfolios.
  • Adjust and rebalance client portfolios in response to evolving circumstances, liquidity needs, and market fluctuations.
Provide Financial Planning Advice:
  • Develop basic financial plans and collaborate with our dedicated financial planning team to implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Facilitate introductions to in-house insurance specialists and other financial resources.
Prospect and Expand Wealth Business:
  • Build strong relationships with internal business partners in Consumer and Commercial sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with Private Bankers to enhance wallet share within existing wealth relationships.
  • Identify and develop external centers of influence beyond the bank.
Maintain Expertise in Economic and Financial Conditions:
  • Continuously research and develop subject matter expertise to provide informed consultations to clients.
  • Stay updated on current trends and developments in relevant technical and professional areas.
  • Understand industry dynamics and their impact on company performance, utilizing this knowledge in strategic planning and decision-making.
Essential Competencies
  • Client Leadership: Prioritize client needs, actively seek client feedback, and build long-term relationships.
  • Planning and Organization: Set clear objectives, manage priorities effectively, and allocate resources optimally.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess the necessary technical expertise to perform effectively and engage in continuous learning.
  • Collaboration: Foster trusted relationships with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Communication: Share information effectively, demonstrating self-awareness and adapting communication styles to the audience.
Qualifications and Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or institutional wealth/investment management.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of investment markets, products, and services, with the ability to implement strategies to meet client needs.
  • Excellent sales and closing capabilities.
  • Possession of Series 6 or 7 licenses for brokerage products.
  • State Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
  • CFP, MBA, or other professional designations are preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
