We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a busy otolaryngology practice. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and nurses to provide medical treatment plans for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take patient history, perform physical examinations, and make assessments and diagnoses.
- Initiate, review, and revise treatment plans, and record and present data to the supervising physician.
- Provide patient care services, assist physicians with interventional treatments, and respond to incoming phone messages.
- Make referrals to other healthcare providers and consult with physicians for further therapy.
- Perform physical examinations, identify health problems, and order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Instruct and counsel patients on healthcare, health maintenance, and medical problems.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current registration to practice as a Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State.
- One year of post-licensure nursing experience.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced medical practice.
- Experience with EMR systems.
