RimTyme Custom Wheels & Tires is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of wheels and tires, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Wheel and Tire Installation: Perform wheel and tire installations, balance wheels, check for correct fit, rotate tires, and repair damaged tires in accordance with proper procedures.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customer vehicles are treated with great care and returned to the customer in the same or better condition than when they arrived.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with other store personnel to ensure the shop area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Provide proper care, service, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and merchandise.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and function well in a physically demanding environment.
- Availability: Ability to work Saturdays until 6:00pm or later.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in tire installation and repair preferred.
