Diesel Mechanic/Technician I

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve maintenance processes.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair.
- 6 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
- ASE certification in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
