Position Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned securities attorney to enhance our Asset Management division. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of private placements, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), joint ventures, underwriting agreements, and compliance with securities laws. Familiarity with broker-dealer distributions and private placements via Delaware Statutory Trusts will be considered a plus.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee securities and corporate governance matters for non-traded REITs and real estate investments.
  • Negotiate distribution agreements with brokers and wealth management professionals.
  • Structure and negotiate intricate joint ventures.
  • Draft documentation for fund offerings.
  • Collaborate with external legal advisors.
  • Engage with senior management on real estate and asset management issues.
  • Manage responsibilities related to mutual funds and private investment vehicles.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 per annum
