Swire Pacific Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general facility maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment.
- Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through our Computerized Maintenance Management system.
- Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment.
- Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner.
- Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports.
- Support the company's Continuous Improvement process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow established safety, quality, and environmental policies, practices, and programs.
- High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate.
- Trade School certified preferred.
- 2+ years of maintenance experience.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Welding and Fabrication experience.
- Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly.
- Strong computer skills.
- Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, docks, and doors experience.
- Security system experience.
- Production Facility repairs experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
