Job Summary:

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Endodontist to join our part-time faculty team. As an Endodontist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental pulp damage and/or injury. This role involves treating diseases affecting tooth vitality and contributing to the overall success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose patients with endodontic problems, adhering to the highest standards of dental practice ethics and professionalism.
  • Treat exposure of pulp by capping or removing it from the pulp chamber and root canal.
  • Perform partial or total removal of pulp using surgical instruments.
  • Treat infected root canals and related tissues.
  • Supervise dental students in the LECOM Dental Group Practice on a by-appointment basis.

Requirements:

  • DMD or DDS degree.
  • Pennsylvania dental license or eligibility.
  • Successful completion of an advanced education program in endodontics accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the ADA.
