Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate to serve as a Physiology Professor at the Lake Erie College Of Osteopathic Medicine. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching physiology to graduate and professional students, developing curriculum materials, and contributing to the overall academic mission of the college.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Teaching physiology courses to graduate and professional students;
  • Developing and implementing curriculum materials to ensure student success;
  • Serving as a content expert in your area of specialization;
  • Participating in departmental and college-wide committees to advance the academic mission;
  • Contributing to the development of new educational initiatives and programs;

You will work closely with other faculty members to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and prepares students for successful careers in osteopathic medicine.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a Doctorate level of achievement in Physiology (Ph.D.) and at least two to five years of experience teaching in academia. A strong background in physiology and a passion for teaching are essential qualifications for this role.

In addition to your academic credentials, you should possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a team-based environment;
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation;
  • Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks and projects;

You should also be able to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
