Job Title: Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P

At Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our aircraft meet the highest standards of quality and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved data.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
  • Keep accurate, neat, and legible records of the work performed on aircraft/components.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
  • Mentor technicians on effective documentation and quality control procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years of aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years of experience on large or mid-size aircraft.
  • Airframe and Powerplant License required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the utilization of Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms, and documents.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, use/interpretation of Maintenance Manuals, test specifications, and other inspection-related documentation.
