Public Health Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Outreach and Engagement Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities affected by substance use disorders.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building awareness and increasing use of our services by engaging communities and conducting outreach throughout Vermont.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health and racial equity, experience working in the field of substance use services, and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with community partners.
This is an exempt, full-time position with a salary range of $55,000-$65,000 based on skills, work experience, and lived experience. The Associate may work remotely, and travel within Vermont and occasional travel to our Boston office is required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to Preferred Providers and community partners.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote our services.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with community partners.
