Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Line Operator to join our team at Reily Foods Company. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for safely operating production equipment and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment efficiently and safely, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food/employee safety requirements.
  • Utilize the Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents, and communicate with support functions.
  • Complete changeovers for assigned equipment and/or production lines.
  • Learns and maintains customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality.
  • Reads and follows instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications.
  • Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
  • Reports any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure optimal equipment operation.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation, assists with product changeovers, and ensures all tools are accounted for.
  • Must be flexible and assist in other areas/workstations to accommodate changes to the production schedule due to business demands.
  • Must be willing to learn to operate several different types of packing equipment.
  • Follows all safety procedures and actively participates in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives.
  • Supports and complies with GMPs; understands and follows emergency action plan.
  • Supports food safety, quality, and legality.
  • Ensures the operation is providing food-safe, quality products that meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Required Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred.
  • Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment.
  • Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills, and the ability to follow rules and directions.
  • Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player, and self-leadership.
