Clinical Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Staff Nurse to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. As a Clinical Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized patient-centered care to a defined group of patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process as a problem-solving model to anticipate and plan to meet patient and family needs.
- Conduct hourly rounding on patients and develop a therapeutic nurse/patient relationship throughout the health care continuum.
- Communicate effectively using the SBAR in all hand-off situations and perform documentation of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing with a minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
- Current California Nursing license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic EKG competence and certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing or Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
