About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Northwest Specialty Hospital's Adult Psych Unit. As a CNA, you will provide safe and competent nursing assistant care to our patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Complete bedside shift reports and ensure patient communication boards are updated daily.
  • Meet with supervising RNs to receive delegation of tasks and ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Involve patients and families in care planning, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety, including fall precautions and equipment safety practices.

Our Adult Psych Unit provides behavioral health services to adults 18 years and older, with a focus on individualized care plans and a 24-hour secure environment.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
  • Current Nevada CNA license or current BLS certificate.
