**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the entire engineering department, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, and installations of plant machinery and facilities through established preventative and routine maintenance protocols.
  • Enhance and execute maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure product integrity.
  • Plan and implement machinery installations in accordance with design specifications while mitigating risks associated with contamination.
  • Manage the sanitation program, developing and enforcing cleaning protocols for the facility, equipment, and utensils.
  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor the sanitation team, ensuring compliance with FDA, OSHA, and EPA standards.
  • Participate actively in the Food Safety Team and Safety Committee initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a bakery manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in planning maintenance operations, repairing electro-mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience in refrigeration, HVAC systems, and overall facility maintenance.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience, including training and promoting safety among team members.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and sanitation standards.

**Reporting Structure:** This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

  • Salary range: $130,000 - $135,000
  • Bonus potential
  • Comprehensive medical coverage (100% basic), with 50% coverage for dental and vision for the employee.
