Job Summary:

As a Lead Dentist/Managing Clinical Director at Aspen Dental Careers, you will be responsible for managing the clinical operations of our dental practice. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team of dental professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Clinical Operations: Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of dental professionals, helping them to develop their clinical skills and achieve their career goals.
  • Develop and Implement Clinical Protocols: Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement clinical protocols that ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Exams and Diagnose Dental Conditions: Conduct thorough examinations of patients and diagnose dental conditions, developing treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
  • Provide High-Quality Clinical Treatments: Provide high-quality clinical treatments to patients, using the latest techniques and technologies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Maintain Awareness of Budget and Financial Objectives: Work closely with the operations team to maintain awareness of the practice's budget and financial objectives, ensuring that all clinical decisions are made with a focus on financial sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree: Must have a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program.
  • Current Dental License: Must have a current dental license in good standing.
  • Leadership Experience: Must have experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in managing clinical operations and leading a team of dental professionals.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team of dental professionals.
