The Event Catering Associate plays a vital role in assisting the event operations team to ensure the seamless execution of catering services and events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare catering and event services in accordance with client specifications and event orders
  • Deliver and set up catering food and beverages along with all essential supplies and equipment
  • Arrange chairs, tables, buffet stations, and other event-related equipment as per the event order
  • Ensure food and beverage items are replenished throughout the event
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas during events
  • Collect and clean up food and beverage items after service
  • Disassemble and tidy the area following the conclusion of events and return equipment to proper storage
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all attendees
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred
  • Experience in catering is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Compliance with the designated dress code is required
  • Availability to work flexible hours based on event schedules
  • Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as mandated

This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
