We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Sample Technician to uphold our commitment to quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Oversee the implementation of Food Safety, Pre-requisite, and quality assurance programs within both warehouse and production settings.
- Conduct quality assurance evaluations on incoming, in-process, and outgoing products as necessary.
- Assess the internal and external environments of facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company expectations.
- Manage and review quality-related documentation to guarantee traceability, compliance, and precision.
- Monitor the production environment to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and policies.
- Perform routine inspections of all designated areas, review production records and Critical Control Points (CCPs), evaluate incoming and finished products, report findings, and manage the release of qualified ingredients.
- Input test results into quality control trending spreadsheets and communicate results promptly and accurately to maintain product integrity.
- Notify relevant parties of any quality or food safety deviations.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of Food Safety & Quality programs to promote continuous improvement.
- Utilize various software tools including email, ERP systems, Excel, Word, Google Docs, and MS Nav effectively.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Be adaptable to new responsibilities as needed and available for overtime and weekend shifts when required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in the MS Office Suite.
- Strong data entry capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proven track record of problem-solving.
- A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- A demonstrated history of strong attendance in previous roles.
- HACCP Certification or the ability to obtain it within three months.
